Program Information
- The program is designed for students who have a background education and work experience in the field of nursing. Previous education in nursing is obligatory. Suitable background for an applicant:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum work experience in nursing field for two years.
- The vocational qualifications in social and health care will prepare students for a career as a practical nurse in Finland. Upon graduation the student will receive vocational qualification in social and health care.
- Average monthly wages for nurses in Finland: about 3,100 Euros. Finland ranks among the top countries to work as a nurse.
- Course Start Date: November 25th 2024.
- Application deadline: June 30, 2024.
- Course duration: 12 months (plus 4 months Preparatory online program while you prepare to travel).
Admission Requirements - WAEC or NECO Certificate & Transcript.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- International passport.
- Resume/CV and official work certificates.
- Motivation letter.
- Police character certificate.
- Age range: 18 – 45 years.
Financial Information - Application fee: 100 Euro.
- Online Finnish language program: 495 Euro.
- Program fee: 10,200 Euro (payable in One Instalment).
- POF: 6,750 Euro (3 months).
- Health insurance: 200 Euro.
- Residence permit application fee: 350 Euros.
Application Process - Provide required documents and pay application fee (100 Euro) and Quickpath Education’s Commitment Fee.
- Attend online interview with our partner, Edunation. (Interview involves verifying academic qualifications, spoken English language proficiency, work experience and personal motivation for the program).
- After interview, school sends Acceptance Letter and invoice.
- You pay program fee, online Finnish language fee and agency processing fee.
- You gather documents for residence permit application, and Quickpath Education helps to apply for residence permit.
- You join online Finnish language program.
- You receive residence permit, complete Finnish language program, and travel to Finland.
Program Timeline - Application deadline: 30.05.2024.
- Last possible date for interviews 06.06.2024.
- Acceptance letters/ offers sent by latest: 23.06.2024.
- Due date for all payments 31.06.2024.
- Online language training starts July – November 2024.
- Vocational training on campus: 25.11.2024 – 31.11.2025.
- Payment term is 14 days after receiving the invoice.
Note on Online Finnish Language Program - Program runs from 15.07.2024 – 15.11.2024.
- Classes hold online three times per week, 60-90 minutes per class.
- You cannot miss class more than 4 times.
